Hi guys

I started up this Jebo R338 in September.
The plan is to keep it simple and cheap.
It’s got a 15W LED light bar I got from the pet shop and I wired in some 12V LEDs I got from China mall. 8 blues 4 reds and 4 greens, they are super cheap and pretty bright but you have to weed out the duds that aren’t sealed properly so they just stop working after a few days.

I plan on building a small cabinet above the display tank for a small plastic sump which will have an overflow box feeding the display, I made a nano skimmer out of a glass bottle which will just have an air pump to create skim, seems like it worked for the guy on YouTube. I just need to find a limewood airstone.

I will have all the equipment wired into the cabinet below the display. Will use digital timers for the lighting and air pump for the skimmer. I also have a fan to fit to the hood but need to get a thermometer to see if it’s
nessasary.

I’m running a small 400/LH pump for circulation, it’s abit loud so I will get a wave maker but not sure what size will be right for such a small tank.

Iv got filter floss and phos guard in the filter.

I found some zoas in a rock pool and 2 star fish when I was fishing and they are thriving, I haven’t put any fish yet because I want to get some live rock and redo the scape before putting fish.

Let me know what you think and pass on any advice please.

Shot guys

Nice start man! I like the idea of a sump above that flows into the tank...can feed all kinds of small life forms to the tank that way without it getting lost in equipment and filtration.

Great use of light space inside the hood. I don't see the star fish though
Amazing Zoas.

Good luck. Send pics of that skimmer.
