Good day. I have this guy in a qt for past 5 weeks in a hyposalinity treatment. For past week I noticed one small spec on his nose. 2 days ago his whole body was covered. I am supplementing his food with garlic guard and vitamin C. Really wish I could get Selcon or similar for supplementation.

When I received him he was in pretty rough shape with torn fins and completely stressed, there has been a massive improvement with his gins completely healed. I’m pretty sure he got some brain injury because he does not feed normal as he shoots past the good particles only to realize he passed it when he gets to the other side of the tank then slowly reverses.

What else can I do to increase the health of this guy? I was teally looking forward to increasing salinity over the weekend and adding him to the dt, but I’m scared if I increase salinity he could break out with WS again fue to the skin lesions.

What is the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate in QT? Lymph is not really treatable with any medicine, except building up the fish's immune system through good water quality and good feeding. I would recommend taking it out of hypo over the next few days, I've had issues in past with hyposalinity long term, the fish can't flush their kidneys properly, which can cause stress, especially with food like garlic that can possibly have chemicals build up in kidneys that can't be flushed out properly. He won't be able to break out in white spot if the parasites are not already present in the tank.

Lymph is normally on the fins. OK you do get it on the fish body. It is a much more wart like growth, that swells up and forms wart like structure.

Sure its not just a bump spot. Where the fish hit himself against something.

@hotdog83 , I did not know that. I will be increasing salinity as of tonight. I soak it’s food in garlic guard with vitamin C powder I desolve in it, so I’ll increase the salinity. Slight amonia levels, which I treat by doing a 50% water change every night after feeding and adding prime to the new water.

@RiaanP there is wart like spots all over his body, so pretty sure it’s lympho. I’ll try my best to take some better pictures tonight as he is feeding and post it. It’s quite difficult to get good photos of it.

Thanks gor the reply.
