Would like to start fragging some of my corals but I don't have space to plumb a frag tank to my display tank so it will have to go in another room. Nothing too big, about 800 x 300 x 400mm. I've got a T5 unit with 3 24w globes. I plan on having some LR in for filtration but will I need a skimmer as well? I can't even pay attention so budget is pretty tight at the mo. I'll hook up a PC fan to keep temp in check. Am I missing anything?

    Thanks:peroni:

Howzit Gaboon. Sounds good to me. Just keep up with water changes if you not going to have a skimmer bud!

Shot Mek, given it some more thought, gonna try squeeze it in next to the display tank, don't want to have to dose calcium etc. separately.

Even if you have the tank separately, Ca and Alk wouldnt be an issue, one time, slurry method.

Howdy....if you have lots of reading time on your hands (took me about a week)

Read thru the whole thread, this guys' frag set up is outa this world and was achieved with t5's. The nice thing as well, he answered every question posted to him, so you can just lap up all that info up.
