Welcome to the forum Ashley.

The lights look good, BLV are one of the better makes of aquarium globes.

Bear in mind that with the 20k globes the tank is going to have quite a blue colour.

Yip, it will definitely do the job, you will be able to keep any type of coral under those lights.

Thanks All
I think i will order this unit on monday. Most probably going to have some fun trying to hang over the tank to mount it.

You guys need to learn to read :tt2:

Two 54 watt T5 Actinic Lamps included
Ashley, when you mount your lights, it would be a good idea to try and mount them so that you can adjust the height, it helps when you have to work in the tank and you can move them out of the way, also if you need to acclimatise certain corals it is nice to be able to raise and lower the lights.

If you are mounting them in a fixed position then have them about 20cm's above the water surface.

Hey Ashley welcome to Masa, looks like a nice lighting hood, what make is it?
I would definatly try change the globes for the 14K range, will be far better for corals.

That looks like quite a nice fitting. What make is it? And where did you get it?
