    Hi,
I'm looking for some info on the Blue-striped/Blue faced hermit crab (Pagurus liochele).

So far, I know of one from P.E. area from 39m, one from False Bay (20m) and one from inbetween (intertidally).

If you have seen or collected some of these, please let me know - I will understand if you don't want to disclose your favourite collecting spot - I'm more interested in the depth found as well as the substrate collected from.

Strange choice of hermit, are you sure that you're not looking for the stock-standard "blue-eyed hermit"?

Looking at the pics, I'm preeety sure that I've seen a fair number of them on the edges of gulleys with shell grit as substrate off PE in 20 - 30m of water.
