    Some of my sps. A stylo and a green digi and a blue stag and my favourite mille all had munch marks on them but I was not sure what it was and then I saw this on my tank glass![​IMG][​IMG] so I think next week is "get a pair of harlequins week" so I will haveto take out my two sand sifting stars

    Didn't know they bothered corals. Good luck with the harlequins, they are fantastic looking shrimp.

    Thanks! Some do some dont there are some closely relateds out there. Apparently only 5% of them like sps.

    I have loads of them they don't bother anything. I have been building up a stock pile of them to oneday throw a harlequin shrimp in. Some people's tanks get infested with them pretty fast though.

    Depends which ones you have. They look very similar but have different behaviour unfortunately

    Legs extended out to about the size of a 50 cent piece

    I have these same stars in my tank and that explains the munching of two of my sps..

    Yea i got a few of these guys too.. Think they the reason some of my Zoas have gone missing..

    ok , that now explains where my zoas have gone. i have 100s of them. thought of the shrimps but have 2 sand sifting stars and so scared that they have a look at them and munch them.
