Quite a big boy.

Does he swim up to the food and then just not eat or does he completely ignore the food when you feed the tank?

From personal experience (My brothers Longhorn Cowfish) he also had the same issue, the cowfish would not eat. We found that the cowfish didn't like other fish around it (Tangs, Damsels ect) In short it wassant to happy with its new surroundings. ONLY when we removed it to QT for feeding on its own did it actually start eating. Moved it back to DT a few weeks later and his still going strong.

PS: Also take into consideration these fish DO NOT like strong flow. just a little bit of turbulent flow throws there entire balance off.

Agree with Storm, separate him for awhile and let him get used to eating prepared foods, they generally eat anything once settle down.

Hows about a pic. I remember the longhorn cow fish when I use to fish at west there buy the old whaling slip. The little buggers use to chase my sprats. ahhh The good old days.

i have Lactoria cornuta and it eats what ever, i feed it brine shimp, but mostly like its just shy, calm the water and normal the lights, and get its attention by pointing out the food, like yellowfish is very aware of my actions and so i get him hell of actions to watch and i sing to him try making him into a belt if nothing elsse works,
