    Life is pretty expensive...
Everything depends on ur salary though....
If u have a good job that will suit you and a nice salary... it's okay......
Mauritius is a good country for Holidays... but personally.. it's not the most extra-ordinary either for living... there's the goods and borings side too .... any other help just let me know... ;)

As it turned out the position was for cisco equipment sales.
Sales is something I just can't do.

Also how many sales can one make on such a beautiful small island?

    more than you think.

Mauritius is the helpdesk phone in centre of the world. Plus the natives can speak English and French without a terrible accent. Their timezone also falls in that they can support more countries. Did you know that?

    ja ja

Been involved with companies that bring in guys directly out of India. Sorry but no disrespect to our local Indian community. But I really struggle to hear what the foreign Indians say in the business meetings. Never mind over the phone. The accent is just too much for me. The locals, no issue.
