    Hi Guys,

I already have a tank running for about 2 years. A lot of the life in my rock has died (pods, worms, snails etc), some of it is still there, but not much. Cant say when and how they died. My fish include only the following: 2 clowns, 1 chromis, 1 midas blenny, 1 four stripe damsel, 1 brown and white damsel.

I want to buy some new rock to seed my existing rock with new life. Plan to put some in the DT with the bulk of the rock, and some in the sump with some of my other rocks.

    1) Will this work
    2) which should i go for in order to achieve the above Figi, Indo, tonga or kenyan (the rock the sponsors have indicated they have in stock

It is always a good thing to seed old rock with fresh new rock. Just be careful to not add too much and cause ammonia spikes if the rock is not properly cured. Try to get different rocks for more diversity.

Cool. Will definitely get some new live rock then.

What about this tonga branch? Doesnt look like much life would come from it, any thoughts?

Put a request in the sponsor thread, they will reply with what they have and prices too.

Agreed, go and buy different rocks from different regions around the world and from different shops, that way you are guaranteed to get some good biodiversity.
