    Hi guyz

Need help urgently. I have a TL450 that has been running for about 3 months. I have 2 clowns, a chromic, a shrimp, 2 hermit crabs and 2 turbo snails.

I have just noticed today that there are a few little white worms hiding in the rocks which are attacking / irritating the snails causing them to shake and move quite fast to get rid of the worms.

    Questions:

    What are these worms

Are they bad for my livestock

How do I get rid of them

Are they long and stringy as if anchored to the rock? I doubt it is a patasite but please post image

Thanks for the quick replies - no they not stringy

Went looking, but the snail has moved to the other side of the rocks.... And the worms are nowhere to be seen again

Will post pics as soon as they show again.

Are you sure it is a worm? Not a creature such as a copepod or amphipod?

Nope, definitely not copepod or amphipod. This definitely looked like worms. White in color, about 0.5 cm long, thin - looks like a thin calamari tube

Ooh I might never eat calamari again :)

The actual white thing is a Tentacle and it grabs food etc, to the tube where the worm stays :)

Have seen the sute before. Just not sure if I am identifying them correctly. I identify the worns as amphipods and that gets a thumbs up. Just need to be sure
