    Hi All

I've just got a new laptop with a LightScribe DVD writer, I'm wanting to scribe a jpeg image to the disc, however the std software (Roxio) it came with doesn't support this.

Can anyone advise on some freeware that can help?

    thx

Can you not use normal photo-editing software to "save as *.jpg" and then just copy the file to the disk with the Roxio? Surely if it came with the DVD writer it should be able to copy files...

Hennie he's referring to actually burning that image onto the disk surface. As in a label/cover on the disk.

OK, then - I'm officially stupid - did not really understand how one could have a problem writing a file to the disk... just shows, I need to keep up with the latest technology
