Lights cycle

Hi all,

I'm busy planning my light cycle (summer) and would appreciate your help and suggestions.

The room where my tank will be gets sunlight (not direct) from 07:00 (nice early sunrise) until 19:30 (sunset).

First off, I will be running a light in the engine room when my lights in the display tank is off. What type of light would you suggest I use for engine room?

So here is my proposed light cycle:

Moonlight: 22:00 - 07:00
Blue light: 07:00 - 08:00 (not to blind the fish with a sudden white light )
White light: 08:00 - 19:00
Blue light: 19:00 - 22:30

I will then run the engine room light between 22:00 - 08:00

Will be using 4 digital timers that I can set to various settings per day, so can mix it up even more.

That's a very long light cycle IMO. I run mine in different stages from 11:00am to 21:00pm.

Not running lights at the moment, just want to get all the research done
Still need more sand as my DSB is only 3cm high
