    If you want that length of time to be the lighting I would make it:

    6:30-21:00 Actinic
    8:00-18:00 T5's
    9:00-16:00 Mh

    This will give enough time and the correct time for the corals to photosynthesize. Just my 2c

    What I do at this stage(if I am wrong please correct me on this) I have time switches so 4xT5 goes on at 14:00 the other 4 at 15:00 so when I get home the lights are on and corrals open the 250w MH on at 16:30 to 19:00 then hourly the T5 goes out ant at 22:00 all is out. I mainly have softies but are looking in getting LPS and SPS as time goes by.

    I would run everything 2 hours later. This way you will be able to see and work on your tank. The above hours only enable you to see the corals and fish over the weekend.

    I run my actinics (24W T5's) 12:00 -> 22:00, combination of 1x20k and 1x10k 24W T5's 13:30-21:00 and then 2x10k 24W T5's for 14:30 - 18:00, it's been 4 months and the softies seem happy and are growing well.
