    Hi Sheldon,

I have a simular sized tank (juwel Lido 120)

I use a beamswork 1300 LED and a Odysea 2x24w T5 (1x actinic(ATI) and 1x 10 000k white(original odysea bulb)) unit on my tank and it seems to be doing the job...the LED's are very bright, the only problem is that they have a narrow focus area and more than one would be required if you only use them...Softies and LPS have been opening and growing nicely and have one small piece of SPS which looks like it is growing but still too small to really tell....lol

    Hope the info helps ;)

Doesn't @Len have a smallish tank with a 150MH? I'd go with a combo of 2 24W T5's for colour (like the ATI purple plus which makes red, yellow and green !!!POP!!!) with a 70 or 150W MH, 15000K for growth and adds a bit of shimmer and white/blue colour...

I run a 150 W MH on mine, but it is only 50cm deep, at your hight I would definately go with the 150 W.

With the smallish tank I would recommend a chiller if you go MH.

In terms of color, I have been using 14k with good results, recently gone to 16k, love the blueish tint, so far corals are also happy with it.
