Hi guys, I was thinking of turning my middle chambr of my sump into a small frag tank. It's 300mm X 300mm X 300mm. My question is, can I put a LED light like this over it or do I need something else. It will be mostly softys and leathers in the frag tank.

as you want the frags to grow, and to grow fast. You need very good lightning. Blues are not that needed, but too much yellow and you end up with a lot of algae.

    Dual 39W T5 10000K would be OK

I use two of these in my ats in the sump (just the DC ones due to not having an insulated housing) they do OK. I saw daylight versions of the AC bulbs at Macro which may be worth a try.
