    Good afternoon,

I have finally started with my new Nano tank.
The tank is +- 45-50l. (It's one of Resun's little tanks).
As a filter, I've bought a 68l plastic box... (one of those black boxes sold at Game) .
I'm planning a Deep sand bed with Cheato in the filter.

    Tank stocking:
    1. Zoa's - various colors.
    2. Sun Corals
    3. Other NPS corals - ideas welcome.
    4. A cleaner shrimp or two.
    5. One small goby - not sure which yet.

My question for now is - what lights do I need for the Zoa's?
    The Tank depth is 300mm.

I can get a LED light unit (440mm by 120mm). Will most probably go for this unit, but just want to make sure what other options I have? (Units that's a bit cheaper...)
    Will normal Energy Savers work?

Then for the Deep Sand bed, I'm planning to use Reggies play sand. (what is the going rate for this?)

not sure on the actual dimensions, but 24w T5 tubes would work. 4 Tubes, if it can fit. Than you can play with colours, 2 * 10000K and 2 actinic.

4 decent tubes on a nano and you can grow SPS in there. I would say that you can get away with 2 24W tubes. And that might even bee to much for NPS corals unless you have some hectic overhangs in the scaping to provide darker areas.

@Raven, are you new to marines? If so I would stay away from NPS. They are not the easiest corals to keep :) .. How big is the DSB going to be?
