Hi need some help
I need to mount my light over my frag tank
Light is 2 x T5 34w
2 metal halide 150 watt combo
10 000 k bulbs
Tank dimensions
2000 x 500 × 350
Water height 300
What would be the recomended height above water level to mount the light

For the MH part, unit should be minimum 200mm above the water to limit changes of accidental splashing the hot glass. Tank is shallow so it would not matter if you go even up to 250mm

What duration is recomended to have MH on for

On the unit you got, I would start with the T5 first. Say your schedule is 8 to 20, then run the T5 from 8 to 20.
Will run the MH from 11 to 15. Maybe 10 to 16, depending on type of corals. Intense light corals like SPS, will run it longer. Softies shorter.
