things are moving forward, hope to see more at MACNA 2011

The Lifi STA 75 draws up to 450 watts yet puts out 45,000 lumens or about as much light as a 750 watt HID light

Similar specs to the older cree XPE LED's

these new technologies are going to save reefkeepers a fortune.

Affordable i think would be something that you can walk in, pay for - leave and never think of the purchase price again, and or paying it in full without having to eat pap and sous for 3yrs paying it off monthly.

Some stuff is seriously overpriced to say the least, yes there is savings over long periods of time, but it doesnt make things work out cheaper now. But then again great equipment has never been cheap has it.
