Leveling a tank

    I need some assistance levelling my tank. I tried the coin method but the tank is not 100% level. The tank stands on laminated flooring and the floor is not level. I do not want to use machine feet so are there any other options?

    Keyaam, i used high density rubber matting, same as used for those weaved carpets. Its about 6 mm thick . Nice thing thing is it compresses where it needs to

    This is what I've done....I have a frame with six bolts which can be adjusted.

    Jinx, nice idea,
    but
    It will not work on a laminated floor.

    Need to spread the weight a bit more. Else you will end up with 6 nice deep imprints into the laminate.

    Maybe have a look at the metal shops, Alert Steel or who ever. They got 100 by 100mm square plates, sometimes different thickness. Mostly 5mm. For 10mm, just put two ontop of each other.

    Agree, maybe just add the square plates to the bolts.

    Lol it's not easy to clean under the tank....less space to work with.
    It's the camera flash, make things look worse ;)lol

    Your right Riaan. I need to spread the weight evenly. The only thing I came up with thus far is by putting a board under the stand and add the plates you suggested.
