bolt-n-nut. easy to buy some at hardware stores.
weld nut to stand and adjust bolt. buy largest that will go into the tubing of your frame.

Hi Neil - I firstly used a spirit level - (obvious) - placed the level on the top of the tank - and then used either wooden stakes (small ones) or complete pieces of wood, and increased the height of the stands themselves.......Until my tank was 100% level!

Dude if you are using a 19mm metal square tubing frame buy 19mm bolt and nut weld it in place and your feet are then adjustable. If you have 6 or more feet on you frame please ensure that you use a straight edge on the frame or use a spirit level long enough to span distance of frame.

what i used was pieces of perspex u can get from maizey plastics
just ask them for offcuts will more than likely give them to you
    i used 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm
    50mm x 50mm squares and worked like a dream
whats nice is you can use diff thickness
on diff sides if need be

I have to disagree here Jacques. I also thought using a level would tell you weather the tank is level.

I then found out the hard way when i filled the tank and the water came to the top was not flush over my overflow.

So.... put 1cm of water in it and use your tank as a level. :) Its the correct way of doing it because you know the water will be the same height when it gets to the top.
