We are in the process of building a new tank and as always thought we share it if MASA!

The client we are building the tank for is a MASA member but have requested we start a thread on his behalf. (Silent but extremely violent) :p

This tank has taken quite some carefull planning due to the strange but yet amazing shape that runs from he's living room to the kitchen.

Here is the footprint and high density Polystyrene already in place:

    From the living room area:

    From the Kitchen Side:

    And then the Glass

We will keep you guys updated with progress!!:1:

The filtration will be wild. An entire dedicated room will cater for all the filtration requirements which includes 3 Sumps and a Masive salt mixing facility.

Some of the plans also includes 2 x Reef Octopus Cone Bubble Blaster External Skimmers - XP8000EX with HY-10 000l/h water blaster pumps.

Here is the filtration room (Through the glass doors):

If you brake the tank up in three segments you will have the following dimensions:

    1. (L) 2400mm x (W) 800mm x (H) 760mm
    2. (L) 450mm x (W) 500mm x (H) 760mm
    3. (L) 1500mm x (W) 800mm x (H) 760mm
That is round about 2500 Litres.
