a few more, substrate was added 2 weeks ago and a few diatoms now showing.
Got any pics of them in your tank yet?? They look coolIve been looking for an alternitive to the bulky Tunze 6105's in my system, great pumps very reliable but very visual. Vortech due to price was not an option. I have also never been a fan of trying to align the inner and outer parts. This in my mind always contributes to wear if not aligned propperly.
I managed to get my hands onto some conch aqua pumps.
The slim~8 has a small profile and packs a punch.
It also has a light sensor on the back of the pump and has a multitude of settings
Also sports wireless communication between other conch pumps like vortech.
Price point isnt too bad either for the sleek design and you gain a little extra real estate in the DT.

I like the look of those pumps, thinner than the MP40's. What is the maximum glass thickness they will be able to be used on?
You still owe me picks of your tank with the orphek v4 on it
Stunning pic. What lens are using? A macro lens would really bring out even more detail on close ups.first real good shot with the canon 600D,
and of course a lion fish is a great subject as they stay still!
