a few more, substrate was added 2 weeks ago and a few diatoms now showing.
Ive been looking for an alternitive to the bulky Tunze 6105's in my system, great pumps very reliable but very visual. Vortech due to price was not an option. I have also never been a fan of trying to align the inner and outer parts. This in my mind always contributes to wear if not aligned propperly.
I managed to get my hands onto some conch aqua pumps.
The slim~8 has a small profile and packs a punch.
It also has a light sensor on the back of the pump and has a multitude of settings
Also sports wireless communication between other conch pumps like vortech.
Price point isnt too bad either for the sleek design and you gain a little extra real estate in the DT.
Got any pics of them in your tank yet?? They look cool
Will get some pics as soon as my camera battery charges, im on a drive to only post quality pics of my system.
Hence the purchase of the 600D
Waaaait Waaaait, back it up......
Is that a branching GSP?
Nope, its a dead skeleton with GSP growing over it, If I recall Less have said it somewhere back in the tread...
correct, dead gorgonian skeleton with GSP grafted onto it.. i would love to get brighter GSP onto it for future.
Ah Ah Ah Ah Okay cool....... Have you seen a branching in SA yet?
I like the look of those pumps, thinner than the MP40's. What is the maximum glass thickness they will be able to be used on?
You still owe me picks of your tank with the orphek v4 on it
I have a gorgonian on the left its photosynthetic. Great coral
Took some pics tonight. Will post asap
Stunning pic. What lens are using? A macro lens would really bring out even more detail on close ups.
Standard 18 - 22 lense I think really New to photography. Will look into a macro have already scouted some of the sites. Also looking into a brother housing for sure photography.
Will check on the box and also test in person, I have 12mm and 15mm glass to test it on.
Started fitting the conch aqua pumps today! Very very slim and powerful!
Very nice Les.
Another thing, the photos of your tank under the orpheks is not showing on my browser
Loving the sleek look. It's weird to see flow coming from these little pin type pumps.
Minimal invasiveness internally or externally
Damn that looks neat.
@leslie hempel .Is this the difference between the old and new orpheks or is it just your camera?
I'm VERY happy
