Leopard Wrasse and Mandarin - Advice needed

Hi Guys

I recently purchased a system that has 3 beautiful wrasses. They never hide and always swimming in front.

I have a mandarin that has been happy in my current system so I would like to keep him in the new system.

I was thinking of keeping the Leopard wrasse and wanted to check if anyone has kept a wrasse and a mandarin in the same tank. The system is 425l before displacement.

Any advice will be great

Hi, If memory serves you run loads of filtration on the tank. Maybe Dail back on some of the filtration to raise PO4 and NO3 and feed you fish like they are kings. Make sure to keep on top of testing. Reduce nopox dosing to 1 ml/day to ensure the entire bacteria population does not die...

Fighting will be nil but pod's available for the mandarin would be something to be aware of if it don't eat other food

@ghost_Nic - are u topping up pods?

The wrasses are eating pellets and flakes and I would assume frozen. I see them foraging the aragonite more than the rocks.

@Breado - I have 1 Leopard wrasse, 2 Eridis and 1 Mandarin, no issues at all but as @ghost_Nic does, I top up pods every 3 to 4 weeks
