    Hi guys/ladies I would really appreciate your help.
    I have been running my 4ft tank for 4 years now and everything is going very well. But now I am faced with the decision whether or not to renew my T 5 ballasts. It will cost allot and got me thinking weather it would be worth it to spend more and get LED lighting. I do have some corals but nothing that is difficult to keep or that needs strong lighting (soft corals). Basically I was wondering if you guys/ladies know of a solid brand, reasonably priced in terms of LED lighting that I should look in to. What I will be looking to spend to cover a 4 FT. I am in and around Rooderpoort Forways if you know of any good deals running.
    As I said I am not Richard Brandson son, so I don’t need lights that will cost as much as my tank. I did sign up for e tolls and now I am poor as shit.

    Thanks.:bigthumbup::bigthumbup::bigthumbup:

    howdy, have a look at reefaquatics.co.za they have some great affordable units.

    why are your renewing the ballasts? or do you mean the T5 tubes?

    i would use both, LED and T5 is a great combo, @carlosdeandrade will agree, and @butcherman

    also what features to do want from the LED unit?

    Well ON and OFF is normally a good feature.
    I don't think my fish care much for sun patterns an pretty colours so any feature would be a bonus. As long as the units are durable good quality i am happy hey.
    The combo sounds good as long as it is easy to go full LED in the long run in terms of space.
    I have a 54Wx4 and a 39Wx4, which one would sacrifice if I went led/t5
