Hi Guys
I am in process of setting up a new tank:
DT 1500 x 600 x 600
Sump 1200 x 600 x 600.
Came across a website where one could do your own DIY Led setup. They offer white aquarium Led strips 14000k and blue aquarium strips 20000k. A person buys them per meter. ... Seems to cut ones cost down by a lot...
My question would be how many strips would i need, i was thinking of 8 strips, 4 blue, 4 white with length of 1400mm. Or would this be to bright, maybe 6 or 4 with a 50/50 ratio. Or should the ratio diff?
Here is the specs of the light, just in case its need to determine the amount of lighting:
White :
5050 chip, 60 Led per meter, 14000 Colour temp/k,280 lumen/m, 4.8 watt/m
Blue:
5050 chip, 60 " " " , 20000 Colour temp/k , 170 Lumen/m, 4.2watt /m
What other fitting would i require as well
