Led light unit info

quick question if the power supply is rated at 600 - 650 ma and the 1w globes are rated for 350 ma. would they be over powered and burnout or would the only draw as much as they can take ie the 350ma from the 650ma supply .

Ask your led supplier if they dont stock 700ma leds, you'll blow those leds if you are running them on that power supply, your color leds like red, violet and green you can run them on that 350ma power supply, but your royal blues and whites you need at leats 700ma forward current leds.

If you run the leds at 650ma you will either blow them or reduce their lifespan dramatically. You need to match the driver to the leds. Get drivers that are adjustable.
This is not the only way, you can run 2 parelle series of led's with a quick blow fuse, Effectively halving the ma supplied to the led's to 325ma which is just right for the 350ma led's ;)

Any futher developments/ thoughts on these LEDs?

I'm looking at the 50W LED units, Going to be building my own drivers as theres not much around with PWM/0-10V.
