I would love to get my hands on a Lawnmower Blenny.

Would prefer it to be in the JHB area, willing to go to PTA if that's what it takes.

    Thanks.

Saw some at Wild on Pets about a week ago. Give them a call tomorrow and check with them if they still have it.

@piXius..I don’t think you have sufficient algae at this stage ...the blenny won’t make it for long...they are like cleaner wrass...a few months to a year if lucky in some caces longer and that is in verry matured tanks...sorry if it's not what you wana hear..

Wow, thought I would have enough but you'd know better, I don't want to harm the animal so I would rather wait in that case.

    How about supplemental feeding?

i have seen some in clean tanks (owing to their cleaning ability) and they can also take flake quite redily..

so while each fish is different i reckon you will be ok.. i see you have options now as many sponsors have answered.. enjoy the fishie Fanie they have fantastic character ;)

I had 2 of the local blennys in my tank until last week. Then first the one and after the first one was caught the second smaller one really caused some major crap in my tank and I will never put a blenny in my tank again. Maybe I had seripous bad luck thar other reefers will not have in future but I am done with them.
