I've just returned from a quick 2 weeks in Los Angeles:cool: - and it was awesome!

My friend has an awesome little 50g system which I helped him connect to a frag tank etc. We were supposed to redo the aquascaping but we didn't get a chance.

He took me on a quick shop tour, well, we only went to 2 shops, but each was on each side of LA. Enough with the talk, here are the photos...

    Vivid
This place blew my mind, I felt as if I was inside the 'internet' with the amazing collection of corals they had!

    Amazing Aquariums & Reefs

I loved this shop - very 'coffee shop' like, small intimate. Their systems were very very cool, all rimless, Japaneseque tanks. All the tanks were either acrylic or had starphire (low iron) glass front panels - some tanks were 3 sided starphire, just stunning.

That collection of Acans and Lobophlia physically gave me chest cramps. Frikkin beautiful. Thanks Curv. You seem to be doing some traveling lately. Is this in quest of the ultimate rhythm or ultimate reef chronicle. Either way look forward to your next adventure.

What he said! These - as well as the LFS's I have actually SEEN in the UK as well, are in my idea WHAT A SHOP SELLING MARINES SHOULD look like!

Stunning, they don't mess about in the US do they? when they say "shop" they really mean it - nothing like that in the UK, there are great shops but nothing compared to those two.
