Kosi Bay

    I just got back from kosi bay and what an honour to stay at TEBA cottage for a week and that over spring tide.
    Well we did not manage to land one of the big king fish but we had some fun with black tips sharks.

    That is a blennie, Ben. Looks like a sailfin blennie - but - to make a 100% ID we would need a full body pic of the blennie...

    That is a new 4x4 for the Beach it runs on beer lol

    i got a 2kg springer on a on 7/8 fly rod and 4kg tip ,but no pic because of the bad weather :tongue:

    WOW! That's a huge fish for a fly-rod! Congrats! What did you use the "springer" for? Live bait?

    A crazy Charlie with some lead around the hook shank. OOPS! i let it go again not good live bait after a long fight with a small rod.

    Love the Beer Dolly - brilliant - all it needs is a motor and little attendant to do the refills :)

    There is some big gt's there 50kg the biggest one we got there was 3years ago it was 45kg
    Yes MND thats way i had to go with,to pull the trolley and feed them beer

    thats a good fish ben, was it airial much? i love the speed and accrobatics of springer, great fly quarry :)

    it went ballistic but grate fun took me nearly 10min to land him.
