Hi guys. I need some advise. Just lost my mandarin dragonet to my overflow. Went over and I suspect was then hit by skimmer or pump.

I am sick killing such a beautiful animal.

It is a corner to corner slim line overflow.
About 2cm thick and 1.2m long.

I need some advice on how to make this safe to never kill another creature again this way.

    Tnx guys.

    Niel

How about sticking some eggcrate or some of that platsic mesh that Builders Warehouse sells from the overflow to above the water line.

Very sorry to here of your loss:(, I agree with Johan here maybe eggcrate any other type of material to block the tank. I've also heard of people siliconing a strip of glass with an angle over the overflow to allow water passing under but preventing fish from going as well.

Eggcrate is the easiest. I also recall seeing overflow "teeth" at idol marine recently.

Mmm tnx guys. Thinking of getting some perspex and cutting out teeth, but if it Is possible to purchase these outright, that might be the easiest option. The teath should solve my problem i think.
