    Dear sponsors,

I have combed kzn looking for the Kent tech m magnesium supplement with no luck.
I have had a major bryopsis peoblem for the last 3months, and to date, nothing has worked. I have read extensively on the forum about the kent product being a "bryopsis beater". I have got to the point where i am about to strip down the tank, but have decided to give this a try first as a last resort!
Please could one of you assist me urgently by contacting me with details of where I can get this product, what it would cost and what sort of charges are involved in getting it to me in durbs?

Your urgent assistance in this regard would be massively appreciated!

    Yours in Reefkeeping,

    Andrew

Thanks so much for your prompt reply! What sort of dose were you using? At what level was your mag before?

It was on 1380 ppm - we raised it to 1580 or so .

We have a 3 meter coral tank , so we dose with a profilux quad dose and just upped the dayly dose by 3 ml per day .
This wont be what you will do , as its a diferent sized tankal all, but i think the4 point is a magnesium level of 1600ppm or so is what negitiverly effects the Bryopsis.

    Good luck
    D

Doesn't dosing with your normal Mg dosing help, I mean can't you up the dosage until you reach the desired level, or do these other types of Mg have other supplements added.
I have had bryopsis in the past and kept Mg levels that high for months, it didn't help, I must be missing something. I think it comes down to tank maintenance (not being nasty or funny, just in case the sensitive guys get on their high horses:whistling:).
Why don't sponsors stock M-Kent, looks like a lot of guys want it.:)

Thanks! Well i tested today and Mg at 1080, so gonna raise it to 1600 slowly with aquavitro and see what happens. Holding thumbs, but still searching for kents, its the right stuff it seems!

I agree Carlos, hopefully one of the sponsors will be able to help me with the Kent product. Im sure it would sell like wildfire, judging by the number of guys also struggling with this bryopsis s**t!:p
Dont want to waste more time battling with the wrong thing!

Yes it is strange -raising most types of mag should do the trick, but when i did it , i used Aquavitro - as i say tried it myself and worked like a bomb.

How did you get rid of yours ? some tank maintanance mayby :p
