I am thinking of adding a War Paint Goral Coby (Gobiodon histrio) to my tank. I already have a Yellow Coral Goby (Gobiodon okinawae).

Have anyone kept more than one Coral Goby at a time in the same tank? Web say they are agressive with their own specie only, but still worried as they look very similar and fill the same niche in the tank.

These two looks very different color wise and the War Paint Goby tends to stick on the rocks while the Yellow swims around.

    Think it will be OK?

well it depends on how big your tank is and amount of LR u have for them to hide or claim as ther "spot"

    i have a 2m tank,and i have a yellowhead goby and a sixspot goby,and they get along very well

If they each have their own SPS colony and they're a reasonable distance apart it should be fine.

Very nice gobys. Let us know how it goes if you decide to place them both in your tank!

Dont do it with a tank that small. I have a clown goby and once I got a pygmy coral croucher as a hitchhiker in an acro coral and the clown goby killed it

That would explain why my coral croucher keeps hiding away.

Lol the only time mine comes out from hiding, is when its feeding time. He races out to grab the food and then returns to his hiding spot, just like a little theft lol.
Mine looks different to yours, @Tony. He has the same shape but much redder, and doesn't seem "hairy" as yours.
