True story that is! Thought we start with the easy ones first !

I just love the complexities of SPS reefing. Far more challenging than softies

Love a challenge about the keeping of sticks to the lovely flowing 90% of the reefs beautiful non SPS corals.

Softies are by far the more aggressive corals to keep. Keeping them together is a challenge, never mind the filtration to necessary remove the war fair from the water column.

Love to hear how many reefers have been successful in a softy tank...

IMO SPS is a doddle. Keeping a proper softy or cold water system or species tank is far challenging going than a stick tank.

    Tongue in cheek..

Ivan, great work MASA reefer. Loads of work and research went into your article. It shows true dedication to the hobby and the "wantness" of others to succeed. Your passion for the hobby is appreciated by us all.:peroni:

Thanks @Nemos Janitor. Would not have been able to do it without you and Stuart's assistance.

Yeah, it really is a nice little toy... Only around $100.

I'll check with the local distributor on pricing here... I have used their toys extensively in the hobby and generally before buying a piece of hobbyist equipment, I always try and find out if they have something available in their aquaculture line..

Versus beonly R900 for a D-D seawater refractometer, I would think twice before I buy the electronic one, unless I have loads to spare and my tank is full of corals...
