Generally no. They are quite territorial and I think your tank dimensions are a bit small for 2. Also Bicolors are known to be more aggressive of the dwarf angel's out there. Buuuuutttt there are guys that have more than 1 in their setup's so "hit and miss" or "proof is in the pudding" you will never no till you try but the risk is yours.

As far as i know you need to try and add them the same time. If those two will be compatible i have no clue.

Maybe @RiaanP can shed some light as he has/had more than 1 dwarf angel in his tanks.

Hmm, I have a coral beauty and bicolor in a 90cmx50cmx50cm and they get along. Coral beauty was in first, and did fight with bicolor a bit at the start, I caught coral beauty and put it in acclimation box for a week to let bicolor settle and released it again. Now there is peace, just the occassional shoving every now and then, but they ignore each other most of the time. Both are quite small though. Eventually they will be added to a big 2000 liter tank with a much bigger multispinnis angel, so not sure what will happen then.

That's the thing with this nice hobby of ours, everyday there is a surprise or you learn something new. Regarding fish there is no set rules. Most of the info and feedback we get are a generally what most people have found or done etc. So if you are willing to take the risk and it works out then great but if it doesn't you can always sell one.

only got 1 dwarf angel. Coral Beauty
But I got 4 bigger angels, Navarchus, Asfur and a pair of Lamarck Angels. The angels are OK in between themselves. They got more issues with the tangs than with other angels. Coral beauty got issues at times with the Similar damsels. Likely due to same coloring and size.

When @EFJ saw my tank the first Lamarck angel was still small.

    Busy upgrading.
I've got a Coral beauty at the MO.
Will get a Bicolour, Emperor and Regal angel after the upgrade is done

That's a really nice selection of angels! What size tank are you upgrading too?

I will be moving my tank (just to a different room in the house) but thought this may be an opportunity for me to try out two angels. I already have a nice fat and healthy flame angel and am undecided between adding a coral beauty, potters or swallowtail angelfish.

    Flames are cool.
But I've heard horror stories with those and other angels regardless of who was first.
    Just what I've heard.
    I'm upgrading from 560L to 1500L (1.2 to 2.1)
    Can't wait

I thinks its what works for you. What might work for 1 might not work for the next. I have a flame angel, coral beauty and an eibli angel and all were added separately. All get along and all dont nip at corals. I also have an emperor angel that is doing well with the rest.

You're 100% right, each situation to its own.

Best bet is always introduce new fish with a perspex breeding box. Keep it in there for about 2 weeks. Try feeding att the fish near the box so they get used to the new fish. That way when you let it out less chances of fighting.
