    FACTS:

My Friend has got a super sexy juwel lido 120 with the standard juwel built-in filter and a the option to run two canisters.

He would Like to put super rare stuff in his tank. (this is his 3rd or 4th Marine setup)

    Questions:

    1. What media should he put in the following;(eg charcoal, fluffy stuff, purigen, anti-phos...)
    a) The built-in juwel filter
    b) The first canister filter
    c) The second canister filter

    2. Should he make an effort to run a skimmer.( he has a TS3, that he ran for a year, which im sure he could swap for a hang-on type with some of you guys which have upraded from nano to huge tanks.)

    ;)

Please answer in full, this is not multiple choice.

What rare stuff is he planning?
I'm not familiar with that exact tank and what filtration comes standard, but I'd say go for a skimmer.

Not sure what rare stuff he wants. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know either.

What he wants will determine what filtration will be best. And also stocking density.
It's good to choose livestock first then design filtration around that.
Maybe find out if he's going more for fish or coral and which type of coral.

Ok so the corals he is looking to keep is Rare LPS like chalice, colourful brains, eyes, buttons and plates things like that.

Some hard corals like acro and monti

couple of fish... i dont think he really likes fish to much though but if he gets any they must be rare fish, i suppose like Fridmani's and such. maybe a flame angel or other pricey dwarf angel that is reef safe
