    Not familiar with that make.

Where do you have it placed? Near any pumps? Or close to lights?

I find that the mercury thermometer I have in the sump is still more reliable than my electronic thermometer, also reading temp from sump water. The mercury one reads generally cooler the higher the temp goes, the lower it falls, the closer the two readings get. At 25 - 26, they read almost the same.

Check your temp first thing in the morning before lights come on.

Also, check your heater that it is set correctly.

Most cheap digital thermometers tend to be "fairly" accurate, although they do tend to be out or vary by a degree or two at the most. Best bet is to have another different type of thermometer to measure and compare with. The mercury ones Gesiggie mentioned seem to be pretty good, and cheap.

Heaters on the other hand can be very inaccurate, mostly the cheap and cheerful ones, and can often stick in the 'on' position overheating the water. What heater have you got?

My first step would be to get another thermometer in there to compare with, if they both read within a degree or so of each other then it could be your heater.

no guys corals are doing good, i took it back to northlans pets and they check it out and it worked fine, i got home and use a little fan which i placed on top of the tank and this brought the water temp to 25 / 26 deg, i lowed the heater tem to 25 and this is working well.
