    Dunno what the old tariffs were so no idea how much the diff is. Looks like a lot of places to get charged though!

    Of course they are milking us! We are the cows and the bees that is keeping this country afloat! This county would/would have SUNK A LONG TIME AGO without us!

    Only one problem, they busy 'killing the goose that lays the golden egg'. People don't have that much spare cash anymore and if they want to keep it afloat they are going to have to loosen the reigns on the business sectors, especially the SME's.

    i agree with alan, i think they should drop PAYE and company taxes and make VAT 20% etc then everyone pays taxes equally no matter what.
    basic food items can have no VAT

    I have said that for years, but afraid it will never happen. Someone did explain why, but I cannot remember the details.

    I agree 100% with that! Like the US - they have 17% tax. But everybody's personal tax is MUCH MUCH lower.....
