Hi Matt , i have a dual chamber CA reactor , and keep my CA level at a min of 550ppm

I am also going to use a Kalk reactor as well , the clams are starting to really grow so i have to keep the CA up :)

Cheers mate

Very nice, what are your tank specs and what do you consider to be paramount when keeping that many clams?

Very nice, what are your tank specs and what do you consider to be paramount when keeping that many clams?

Tank specs are 4x2x2 3 x 250 watt 14,000k metal halides

sump is 3x18'x18' with Refugium/DSB, with macro algae

return pump is 7200 liter/hour

3 tunze 2500 liter/hour powerheads
1 tunze 4500 liter/powerhead

Umm i guess what is paramount to keeping clams is maily don't have S.G swings and keep your CA up , and like anything keep your water parameters stable as possible :)

At the end of the day Mike , like keeping anything "Dont Stuff Up" or it dies

cheers mate

P.S Keep clam safe fish, thats the other thing to think of when having clams :)

Awesome clams Andrew! WOW! Can you list the types that you are keeping, if you don't mind? (t. squasmosa? t. dendrosa? t. gigantea? t. maxima? t. crocea?)

Also - how many do you have in total?
