How many T5's do I need for a 160L ( 91x32x60) tank for low to medium light corals?

4 t5's should be fine depending on what coral's you planing on keeping.

4 T5's for the corals it sounds that u want to keep is fine. I take it you are wanting to keep soft corals like leathers, shrooms, zoas etc and maybe the odd lps?

You would need to look at more if u want to start keeping things like sps, anemones or clams though.

Mark, carpet anemone needs MH, your tank must at least run for 8 months or more before you can put in a anemone, then at that stage go for a bubble tip anemone

why do you want MH?, but if you do want one then 150W will be enough for your tank with 2 to 4 T5's to supplement the color

    1x 150W MH 14K
    2x Blue
    2x actinic

Welcome to MASA! Also make sure that you use decent reflectors for your T5's.
I would say 4 x 39watt T5, 2 white and 2 actinic with reflectors. Personnally I would say that this may be sufficent lighting for a BTA, is your tank 60cm deep or 32cm deep?

Although some get away with keeping carpet anemones under 150 MH and T5 I’m not a big fan of it. I’m also not a big fan of the carpet anemone being ones first anemone. Do yourself a favor, put as many T5’s as will fit over your tank, each with individual reflectors. Get yourself a BTA and then you can keep soft coral, LPS and possibly SPS.

Each T5 bulb would have its own reflector. So if you go with 6 bulbs, you would need 6 reflectors. This is of course if you want your T5 bulbs to reflect the most light.
