    Howzit,

Got a question about this skimmer....

    Question is...
Would it be ok to connect the outlet to my overflow return via a T piece? (As image bellow - A)
and will the old skimmers 2000l/h pump work for the inlet?

Thanks the thread answered the inlet question but if u use the pump for the inlet, can i let the outlet join the overflow back into the sump? is it not sending the return too high?

If I understand you correctly then no you can't do that. The outlet from the skimmer needs to have no resistance on it and there is no way it will be able to push uphill like that, especially if the overflow from your tank is also coming down on it, you will more than likely have the skimmer running half in reverse with water being forced into the skimmer from the outlet.

Well now I have a problem, i have no idea on how(Where) i could plug the return back to the sump?

Would it work if i got another hole drilled in the sump - B (no overflow resistance)( Would the height still be the problem)

viper is correct, what you can do with no ill effect is increase the hight of the T piece that came with the skimmer...but it seems like you have space issues :p

The best would be to trill the sump IMHO
