Hey guys please advise ,my dwarf angel is losing weight and im worried .I feed them every second day ,all other fish are fit and healtthy.He is the only one who is fading away WHATdo i do :(

Hi Lindsay. As far as I know you should feed less food more often. Like small amounts twice a day. It also depends what you are keeping. Perhaps some of the Guru's can back me up here.

Hi Lindsay, ok they are mostly algae grazers, I would suggest nori seaweed on a rock (tied with an elastic band) also try spiking it with some fresh garlic.

Also try some Veggie flakes, I have the Omega Kelp flakes

Rub some garlic on it, real garlic not precrushed oiled stuff. Might just entice him

Kanga i rubbed garlic (fresh) but still not eating.Goes up checks it out and pulls his nose up.What now ? should i just persaveir ????? Im worried man

Lindsay dont clean your glass for a couple of days. Once algea/ diatom growth is on glass, check if he is eating this. You should see "kiss" spots on the glass if he has eaten

Hi Lindsay

These fish are algae eaters, so what I have done in the past is use sea weed just as the other guy mentioned. What you could also try which helped me get my Moorish Idols to eat was boil some peas and peel the skin off and crush them onto a rock or in a small hole on a rock and then as days pass try adding some meat food to it.
