Jumping Bean eating my Candy Cane

    Hi all

    my Jumping bean is going to the tentacles that come out of my candy cane coral - what do I do & is it bad for the candy cane?

    If its eating it, remove the coral or fish, unlikely it will stop. Are you sure its being eaten tho? Jumping beans are usually model citizens.

    he is only going for the black string like stuff that comes out the candy cane little hole!

    not sure if he is eating it or just tasting all I know is the candy cane retracts it after he has had a go :)

    What do you suggest ? the candy cane looks fine & does it need tentacles out?

    Those black strands are the wastes of the coral. If its just eating that then I wouldn't stress

    Iv never seen my candy cane bring out its tentacles,doe sit only do that when lights are off.Even if i try to feed it,nothing.

    Yes Candy Canes only come out when the lights are off, but apparently you can train them to open during the day, but I think you have to feed them round about the same time every day.
