I feed all of my fish redbait that i cut out, put it in a blender for 5seconds make small blocks and put it in the freezer and feed them a block a day. I think it is a healthy natural food and they love it. I have started all my moorish idols on redbait and when they eat well i start giving them flakefood aswell, and i have no problems with them.

I will send photos, just need to figre out how....

Ok I've heard allot about this wonderfull quilities of red bait but never went to asking, What is red bait? Is it a coral, algae, sponge? Can we keep it in our tanks, what does it need to survive? If wecan keep this stuff then most of our fish feeding could be less of a problem.

Yes, they are only here from Desember to March when our waters is warm but sometimes they dont come down, it all depends on the wind and the Agulhas current. I was luckey this year and cought 7 Moorish Idols and all of them are very well.

LOL....... Annoying I think redbait is a type of kelp but seriously dude it is the worst smelling thing on this plannet you need a gas mask or you will pass out from the gasses.
