my idee is to take a 1.2 meter tank with all live rock in sump as well as a dsb and some macro algae. The DT will only have a little flow with a CLS. The lights will be only actinic or plain blue. could be a nice effect in a tv room were light plays a role.

At the 2oceans they have some jellyfish tanks. Don't think there's any on display, think they were just breeding them in the back room or something.

Basically the tanks setups were very very minimal. Basically just a glass box and then make a "circle" using something like ABS plastic,so the tank would look something like [O] with a hole in the top. The flow was created by an ordinary old air pump with the tube going down the one side of the tank so it lifts water gently on that side and then the the water gently flows round and round. Apparently they produce very very little waste so algae etc is not a problem.

I saw the Jelly fish in Two Oceand breeding room when they first hatched, It was awesome .
Definatly only use an airlift type of pump, no powerheads at all and u will be ok.
A lot of the breeders who grow nennies use airlift pumps and they move an amasing lot of water for very little power.
    picks please

Hmmmm have no jellie tank yet but this is what my reasearch has done to my mind so far, i will use a circular perspex tube, the biggest i can find and seal it at the bottem. I will put gravel filters at the bottem of the tank and then a whole lot of glass marbles over that. The gravel filter will be set up in such a way as too blow water up instead of sucking down. Im still thinking on a way to make a sump and dsb and scrubber and all that work so still a bit more planning to go.

The problem with using airlift pumps is that the air gets stuck on the jellies skin and it dies. Part of the research i have done already is about that

I could but only if u post pics on ur tank and i know u have the correct condition for them. As far as my research so far goes its alot more work than even keeping a reef tank. And alot more technical

Well to keep jellyfish you need a Kreisal type setup. The tank would be a cylinder shape and by having the correct flow would keep them suspended. Good filteration is needed like having a sump with skimmer. As for lighting you need to have a halide because they require strong lighting. I want to check the design of the Two Oceans Jellyfish setup, it sounds much easier to build. Ok and the Jellyfish you can catch must run on a chiller.
