I am really hoping someone will be able to give me an ID on this wired thing.

We are at Hibberdene, on the South coast of KZN.
I tried google and some other forums to get and answer but with no luck.

We also fond some round "jelly" balls and from google I got to sea goose berries, but was not able to find more.

Here are some photo's of the wired thing.

I've never seen this shape before, but it's probably sea gooseberries ( a common name for a lot of species) that got damaged by the sun or waves. Their swarms are usually seen when they get washed up on the beach. I am 99% sure that it is from the ctenophore phylum (google that phylum a bit to see if you find those) . As you've probably noticed they're harmless to humans ;). Still very cool little things
