Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im wanting to use one of these skimmers on my 50L nano, will it work? I want to run it external as it would take up the whole tank almost. What would be the best way to do this and how?

    Thanks.

Sell it and try get a hang on back (hob) skimmer, water changes should be enough though.

Evens for a little 50l nano? What hob would you recommend? Would water changes every week or two weeks be enough if I dont use a skimmer?
Will be using Red Sea coral pro.

10% once a week and all should be fine, depending on the stocking list. I would leave the skimmer at first

I ran my 115litre round nano without a skimmer for a couple of months. I just did a 25% water change every week and added Seachem Stability every now and then. I also regularly tested the water.
I only have two fish, 3 different shrimps and a few hermits....but, I have a heavy hand as I believe they should eat enough :whistling:

Thanks that would be awesome but the only problem is I'm in Mitchells Plain. And I was that side of the world today. If I'm that side again and the offer still stands, I'll take you up on it.

My original plan was to put all my small fish in it so that I could finally get a lionfish but didnt realize that I have 7 or 8 small fish, think that would be overboard.
So it will be fish that I cant keep in the big tank, mostly nano fish like those little gobies.

Damn tobes only two fish. I know what you mean. I sometimes have a heavy hand too, especially when there's a new fish in the tank.:whistling:
