    Hi all,

I got a Jebao WP25 pump recently and although the pump is great, the controller is less so. I am controlling all my tank functions via a DIY Arduino controller and I think it might be a good idea to include the control of the pump in it.

Now my question. The pump has a three wire connection, I would expect one to be ground and the others to be the control lines. I have found this thread, Jebao WP-40 - Manhattan Reefs , it shows how to connect the pump to a Apex Controller. Now my electronic education is quite a bit in the past and I do not want to blow the pump, or the controller. Anybody interested to help me figure this one out?

Oh, anybody know where I can buy the pump without the controller? I might need it.

    Thanks!

Found this. It seems it is quite straight forward. Connect the Jebao power supply ground to the motor and Arduino ground, the power supply 24V to the pump positive and the signal line to one of the Arduino analogue outputs (would think as resistor here would be a good idea, not sure on size though). Could be a PWM input as well...

    Hi @JackSplat

Are you still using the arduino to control your system?

Yes all the way, running like clockwork. Havent done the control on the wavemaker yet though, the standard one is actually quite good
