classic. dude.. just a Q: did you ever take the air filter off the venturi? i doubt that it would have made much difference though.. looks like it was a royal waste of cash..

ha ha cool.. its a pity that there are so many pieces of wquipment out there claiming to be something they are not.. it just goes to show that the lack of understanding of such a piece of equipments purpose and function can and are being exploited..

i wonder how many $/R/etc etc go to waste every year on such usless equipment.. i mean c'mon... even a bad skimmer should skim something.. even if its just wet skimmate..

This skimmer looks exactly the same as the one that comes in the Boyu TL-550. That never skimmed a thing for me.

Man - Some Jebo Designers need some hammertime:lol: Some LFS tell customers that a Small Jebo Skimmer will do 1000lt tank - no problem

Have to give credit to my LFS though, he told me I would need 2 Jebo skimmers for my tank. :banghead:

This is the exact same skimmer as the Boyu WG-310. I upgraded from the 308 to the 310 when I bought my TL 550.....

I felt exactly the same way as the guy in the video.....however on the advice of so many memebers of this forum I applied a little patience - as with everything else in marines!

I ran mine through the whole cycle - "run in". And I can no honestly say it was the best R120 I ever spent.....it works great! The amount of muck this thing removes is insane......

It does not just pull out "light tea" liquid like some some people with really expensive nano skimmers get....i see green/brown pieces build up in the collection cup....

Then again my tank might just be super dirty....;) However my parameters are fine and stable....

and bonus....no issues with lids not closing etc and everything looks and is still pretty much stock!

    Just my 2c.....

also had the boyu wg 310 and although it took a while to run in and get tuned just right once it was it skimed prety well obviously only suitable for a nano but that is what it is meant for I think the main problem is because they are so small they can get bumped and moved very easily even when emptying the colection cup and this means starting the tuning all over again had it down to an art but then id go away for work and my mom would empty the skimmer cup and from the day after I left to the day I got back to reset it efectivly no skimming would happen.

so in conclusion fniky but they do work
