Welcome to MASA Ivan, hope you enjoy it here with us. Please tell us more about your setup - how long it's been running, what fish you got, fitration etc etc.
Also post pics if you can and give us the water parameters. We need this info to assist you and also see what could be the possible cause of this.
Start a new thread in the "New members" section and introduce yourself and get a warm MASA welcome.
You can then start a thread in the "Urgent advice" section for some help on your problem. :p

    Hi Ivan,

Please give some more info on your tank! Size, Inmates, water parimeters, do you have coral? SPS or LSP? I had white spot and dropped my salinity to 1.018 for about a week, but this needs to be done with certain things in mind! It does work though...

YOu need to move your fish into a quarantine tank. You can try two methods of removing ich. The first is hyposalinity at a SG of 1.010. You will need a refractomer to do this properly. Combined withe the treatment would be copper available from LFS's. You need to treat the fish for thirty days to stop the cycle.

BTW, how bad are the fish? a few pics will go a long way here

I also asked you some questions so that we can have a better picture of what's going on that you haven't answered yet :p
How sure are you it is infact white spot? That's why we need to know as much as possible in order to help you.

Hi Ivan welcome to MASA, you will have to give us more details about the ssytem so we can try figure out where the spot came from.
First off. how old id the system?
How many fish in 260L of water?
    What are the water parameters?
    What filtration are you using?
ETC.........as much info as possible so we dont have to guess what the problem is.
No good us giving you advice on lowering nitrite and the real problem is an overstocked tank.
90% of fish diseases are caused through stress to the fish, we wont be able to give advice unless we can get at the cause of the stress. Already i can tell you that you have increased their stress by cathing them and moving them to another system.....not a good idea.

    Hi Alan
    1)Its been gowing for 8 weeks,had 11 fish in it,ph 8.1,no2=0,no3 30-50mg/ll,amonia=0,po4=1-4mg/l,selinity=1024,temp=26.4deg,liting=18000k t5.
2)filtration:dsb with a 1200l/h filter and im surculating 1500l/h through the dsb.
3)bought some fif aroung town but i think where my trouble started was n sit them in the water for 20 min then adding them with the water n got them in.

The water could be a problem as well as the fish themselves.
How many fish did you add and how long after you added them did the problem start?

All 11 at the same time??
If it was all 11 then that would definatly be a problem as your filtration wont keep up with that and your system would start to cycle again, when adding stock add slowly and give the bacteria time to catch up.

In a Large system you could add 2 at a time and then wait 2weeks before adding more and then another couple of weeks etc, the bigger the bio load gets the more you could add at once, depending on the size of the fish.
